5 Bible Promises to Strengthen Your Faith

“Only Believe.”

“Trust and Obey.”

“Have Faith in God.”

Notably, these are all words from old hymns.

For Many of Us

For many of us, these are words we have heard, spoken, and sung all of our lives.

Moreover, we know that we are to have faith.

But sometimes it is just PLAIN HARD to have faith in God.

Obviously, on some days, our faith is weaker than on other days.

Truly, believing in God’s sovereignty can often be a great challenge!

Indeed, we are living in some of those days right now.

Certainly, I don’t remember a stranger season than the one our world is going through at this time.

Unusual diseases.

And, markets are plunging.

Events being canceled.

As well as… Panic.

And, fear.

(Even… Toilet paper is being bought in large quantities from the shelves of stores. I’m still not sure I understand the huge rush on T.P.!)

Therefore, today I’d like to offer you 5 Bible promises to strengthen your faith.

And, I can think of no better weapon against fear and doubt than the amazing promises of the Bible.

I am going to prepare a place for you.

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.”

Indeed, for the Scripture says,

‘Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.”

For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord overall is rich to all who call upon Him.

For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.'”

Wonderful reminders of God’s promises to His people. It was my devotion time this morning as the little ones are home with me as the family is moving out this weekend. I needed a few of these promises to cling to as they leave.
