7 Powerful Assurances When Life Is Spinning Around Too Fast

It was called the “Merry Go Round.”

Every day at recess, we would run and jump on that moving machine for the fun of it, and spin around until we were dizzy.

We would twirl, swirl, bounce, and ride–laughing like wild!

(Or, we’d get thrown off because it was going so fast!)

7 Powerful Assurances When Life Is Spinning Around Too Fast

Sometimes, it feels like we are riding on one of those silly “Merry Go Rounds” again.

We spin, we swirl, we twirl, we bounce, and we ride through life until we are completely dizzy. Even when we get off of a particular “ride,” things can keep spinning.

Truly, it can be hard to walk with steady footing. Our steps can become uneven.

We can even feel a little dazed and confused with all the “rides” that life is throwing at us.

Sometimes life gets to spinning around too fast! It can make us dizzy. Here is encouragement and for when life is hard. These 7 truths offer spiritual inspiration and affirmation for moments when the Merry Go Rounds of life are making you unsteady!

Dizzy from Spinning Too Fast

I’ve felt that way many times recently… like I was recovering from riding some silly, spinning ride at Six Flags.

Only the weak-in-the-knee feelings haven’t been caused by some amusement park ride, but rather by some unexpected life events.

Maybe you too have felt bewildered and made to feel unsteady by life events as well.

I don’t remember a more unsettling season ever!

Spinning Moments Can Hit Us Hard!

They can hit us at any time… out of the blue, unexpectedly, and without warning.

The phone will ring, and the conversation will throw us off balance.

We turn on the news, and the events around us (and around the world) will blow us away!

The email or text message will appear, and we will wonder how to respond.

A call from our boss about our job can throw us for a loop.

Whatever the case, wherever you are, no matter what life is throwing at you right this moment–can I encourage you with something awesome:

Here are 7 Powerful Assurances When Life Is Spinning Around Too Fast:

Powerful Assurance OneJesus prays for us!

Don’t you love imagining this scene?

Jesus, seated at the right hand of the Father, is constantly praying for you and me!

“Therefore, He is able also to save to the uttermost (completely, perfectly, finally, and for all time and eternity) those who come to God through Him, since He is always living to make petition to God and intercede with Him and intervene for them.”

Hebrews 7:27, AMP

Powerful Assurance TwoGod loves us dearly!

This may be one of my favorite passages in all of the Bible!

“And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love.

No power in the sky above or the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Romans 8:38-38, NLT

Powerful Assurance FourGod is Faithful!

There are moments in life when we have to declare our faith in trust in Almighty God.

He promises to be faithful!

– When we don’t see Him working.

– We can’t feel anything or we feel too much!

– Nothing is happening.

– All is quiet.

– We are just waiting.

That’s when we look to heaven and declare, “I will wait on the Lord, and I will hope in Him.”

Isaiah 8:17

It’s an unbreakable spiritual lifeline, reaching past all appearances right to the very presence of God where Jesus, running on ahead of us, has taken up his permanent post as high priest for us, in the order of Melchizedek.”

Hebrews 6:19-20, MSG

I never liked the merry-go-round, Melanie, so even though I can’t relate to your childhood fun, I can relate to the feeling of it now. It truly does feel like a merry-go-round and at times makes my “heart” sick! The words you’ve shared and the truths from Scripture that prove your point are truly encouraging, my friend! They are just what I need to see the Hope that is God alone! Hugs to you!

I love the hope here, Melanie! I am so thankful for this truth …
“God is NEVER off balance.

He’s never out of control, dizzy, or bewildered.

He is always alert, aware, and attentive.

Our God is completely unshakable.”

Embracing that truth simply brings the spinning to a stop. Thank you for this beautiful encouragement!

You always seem to have the right message at the right time for me. Thank You so much for this.

Things have definitely been spinning out of control lately. Health, Finances,Shopping Addiction, Flea infestation, Lack of strength, stamina and energy to clean due to being so very ill and physically weak. Among other family related issues.

BUT…..I Got up at 5:00 a.m. PST and spent time with God in His Word until 8:20 a.m. and then crashed in my broken recliner for 3 hours and then …..

Had the most marvelous day being treated by my sweet Sister-in-laws Maureen and Ruthi…Ate at my favorite restaurant @El Caporal II then hit the @Dollar Tree….Loved it, but I was completely worn out and my OA and PsA decided to flare up after getting home but all is good 🙂 (That was because my Birthday is the 26th 😉 )

    helloredds@gmail.com · 05/23/2016 at 8:41 AM

Thank you, Karen, for your affirming words today!
It does seem like the Merry Go Round goes faster at certain times of the year, doesn’t it!
Praying that God will give you many sweet moments with Him over the next few days.
    And, Happy Birthday!!
    Sure am blessed by you~
    Melanie
