Meet Melanie

I’m Melanie, and it’s pretty simple…

I’m a woman on a mission to offer hope!

Using God’s Word, practical illustrations, a little wit, and a whole lot of common sense, I regularly have chances to offer encouraging instruction to other people.

For over 26 years now, I’ve been married to Randy. We serve in full-time Christian ministry along with our two college-age children–Riley and Emily–in the Memphis, Tennessee area.

You can see some pictures of my amazing family below:

The Family

It's pretty simple - I'm a woman on a mission to share HOPE! Using God's Word, practical illustrations, a little wit, and a whole lot of common sense, I regularly have chances to offer encouraging instruction to other people.

Me and Riley

It’s my joy to teach Bible study in churches and to speak to groups of women around the country at retreats, conferences, and events.

Writing words of hope is also a passion.

Another great joy is to work with women’s ministries and women’s ministry leadership on ways they can improve and enhance the work that they are doing.

Me and Dawn

I also regularly meet with women whom I mentor, women who are in transition, and women in need of life coaching.

I appreciate you stopping by and leaving a comment! It’s good to hear from you.

And, I highly recommend seminary training for women. There is so much more about the Bible that makes sense and comes alive as I read it! Your dad would be proud as well~

      Look forward to future conversations!

  6. Hi, Melanie! I found your blog after a search on Pinterest for “faith lifestyle bloggers”. When I landed on your sight I immediately recognized you from IG. I love to connect with other women in ministry, who are also in a similar season of life. I love what I’ve had time to read here so far and can’t wait to dig into your site more. Seems like you and I have a few things in common!

    1. Hey Stacy,
I’m so glad that you connected with me on the blog!
It is sweet to connect with other women in the same season of life.
Thank you for the kind words of affirmation today.
I really appreciate you and look forward to future “conversations!”

  7. Hi Ms. Melanie,

I ran through your site and I was so inspired. It is also my desire to become a channel of inspiration and hope to other people especially to the youth. I always have the passion to inspire young people to live their life with a purpose for the Lord. God bless you so much and your ministry. Btw, your family is so beautiful.

    1. Thank you, Flong!
You bless me with your words today!
You CAN (and likely already are) be a channel of inspiration! My “secret” is to stay as close as I can to Jesus. Then, He just overflows and splashes out onto others!
I’m praying that God will bless you and enlarge your territory of ministry with His hand on you!

  8. Wow, Melanie – you are so encouraging. I just love it. Thank you for everything that you do. I am just starting out in the blogging world and when I look at what you have created, it is inspiring. I know that this is what God has called me to do – although tough at times, I am all in.
    Thanks again and Glod Bless.
