Melanie I have never been so sure that the Lord is with me but felt so very lost and well just lost. I am at a point when I don’t where to begin to fix things. I guess I should explain. Many things have happened to me this last few years beginning with my husband’s passing in 2012. In 2014 I lost my right leg below the knee due to an infection 2 months later my left great toe was amputated about half my foot was debride and the open wound has not yet healed. I have been relegated to bed with my leg up above my heart in order to help the wound healed but it still hasn’t happened. I no longer have a job and my life is a 10 by 14 room. I had a triple bypass in 2009 and I’m diabetic. At present I am facing issues regarding income and housing and several other things. I am so overwhelmed with fear and sadness that even though I know the Lord is there I can’t hear him I can’t feel him and it scares me. I find in your ministry hope and I tell you these things about my life not for sympathy because that’s the last thing I want. I need to regain my fighting spirit and strength so that I may begin to make my way through this desert. If you have any additional help in which scripture can can guide me please send it out to me. As I said before God blessed me in finding this site and now I ask for your prayers. From your lips to God’s ear that I might find the strength wisdom and path to follow in this time of struggle. God bless and thank you for your words.

    Hey Margaret,

Thank you for stopping by today to visit and leave a comment.

It sounds like you have been walking through some very challenging days. I’m so sorry for your losses and for those things that hurt your heart.

I will be happy to pray with you and for you – for strength, for wisdom, for grace, and for hope. I’m asking the Lord to keep you going strong – and to give you courage.

Why don’t you take some time to go slowly through the Book of Psalms? David’s words offer such hope and help. So many of the verses are prayers that you can pray to the Lord.

I think you might also want to do a word search on the words, “Courage, Strength, and Power” in the Bible. I believe you will find great encouragement as you study.

Please keep me posted on how you are doing, and I will pray for you each time God brings you to mind.
    Hang in there!
    Blessings,
    Melanie
