Share the Hope!

Life is perplexing sometimes.

It takes turns you didn’t expect it to take.

Strange things happen.

Relationships become confusing.

Situations become complicated.

Things just don’t make sense.

Sometimes life is just hard! Unexplainable. Strange. Difficult. But there is hope. Here are 6 words of hope when life is perplexing. #life #perplexing #perplexed #hope

When I go through a week like this past week–when things were really perplexing–I go to the one place where I KNOW I will find answers.

I get into the Presence of God and open the Bible.

Then, I look up (literally) and ask God to help me to make some sense of it all.

There are days when I gain some wisdom and perspective on things.

There are other days when I just enjoy His peace and comfort.

Maybe today you are also facing a strange time in your life. Possibly your world is complicated and confusing.

Why not take a few moments today to focus your attention on the Lord?

Invite Him to speak to whatever strange things and chaos you are dealing with right now.

In the meantime, here are 6 Words of Hope When Life is Perplexing:

Word One – When Life is Perplexing:

Sometimes in the middle of a challenging season… there is a ray of hope!

In the midst of a very tough time in Jewish life, God showed up. King Saul was making unlawful sacrifices, the Philistines were causing all sorts of problems, but one man truly trusted God.

It was Jonathan – King Saul’s son.

He simply believed that “nothing can hinder the LORD from saving, whether by many or by few.”

So, he told his servant, “Perhaps the LORD will act on our behalf.”

And the LORD did!

PERHAPS THE LORD WILL ACT ON YOUR BEHALF TODAY!

Why not ask Him to??

Word Two – When Life is Perplexing:

“Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.”

Proverbs 16:2, NIV

Word Three – When Life is Perplexing:

Dark places.

Hard seasons.

Difficult situations.

We all go through them. All of us!

The great CHALLENGE is to wait on God to get us out of them!

Isaiah 50:10 reminds us of this: “Who among you fears the Lord and obeys his servant? If you are walking in darkness, without a ray of light, trust in the Lord and rely on your God.”

What hard season are you facing right now??

Word Four – When Life is Perplexing:

Love this quote from Charles Spurgeon!

“Remember this, had any other condition been better for you than the one in which you are, divine love would have put you there.”

You may want to read this one 2-3 times!

Word Five – When Life is Perplexing:

One of my favorite quotes on prayer from Adrian Rogers:

“Pray until God gives you what you want OR until He changes your want-er!”

Word Six – When Life is Perplexing:

So thankful for this promise!

“But you, O Lord, are a God of compassion and mercy, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love and faithfulness.”

Psalm 86:15, NLT

I’m praying for you today – for anyone who reads this post.

I’m asking God to give you wisdom as you seek Him.

And, I’m praying you will have peace in the middle of the perplexities of life!

Loving #5. When God doesn’t answer a long time prayer, I have to ask myself maybe I need to change. I have one request that I don’t feel God is going to answer and I always pray that if it’s not His will that He would remove that desire from my heart. God is faithful and I am so glad He answers our prayers!

    Thanks, Ana!
God is faithful, and He does answer our prayers!
I’m praying that He will either grant you this desire of your heart or remove it altogether!
