I thought something light-hearted might be nice today.
There’s much to hear, see and watch in the world that is sobering and heavy. There’s much sadness we can focus upon.
Today, let’s focus instead on the word – “HUMOR.”
Humor is defined as something, “comical, playful, full of whimsy and pleasantry” (dictionary.com).
Today’s post is my attempt to add a little whimsy and pleasantry to your day.
Why not – Loosen your seriousness belt and take a few moments to enjoy some good, clean humor. ~ Let’s start with some funny photos from Pinterest, a sharing site that’s filled with all sorts of images – funny, gorgeous, helpful and interesting. (Pinterest.com)
These are a few photos to hopefully get your comic senses warmed up…
I love the dog’s face on this one:
These last three I added because they were just too CUTE to leave out:
Now, that you have found your silly side, how about a few videos?
The first video may be familiar to you if you are over a certain age (or watched TV Land or some other oldies’ station). This is the famous chocolate scene. It’s about 2 minutes long.
This video is an oldie as well.
See if you remember this one? It’s about 4 minutes in length.
This next video is much more recent.
We found this Christian comedian when we lived in North Carolina. Her name is Jeanne Robertson, and her humor is clean and fun.
This video lasts about eight minutes.
That’s it for today’s attempt at humor.
May God cheer your heart and give you hope. May He fill you with a cheerful disposition.
“A cheerful disposition is good for your health; gloom and doom leave you bone-tired.” (Proverbs 17:22)

Maybe you can send it to a friend or family member?
