Quitting.
Giving up.
Tossing in the towel.
Dropping out.
Resigning.
These things can tempt ALL of us at times!
We all reach moments when we need some words of motivation, inspiration, and encouragement to keep us going!
Today could even be one of those moments for you.
Here are 7 Bible truths to increase your faith and offer you hope when you want to give up:
Truth One – Galatians 6:9
There are days that all of us grow weary and feel exhausted. Life can take it’s toll and cause us to lose heart.
What are we to do when we want to quit?
Press on!!
Don’t lose heart!!
Do the very next thing!!
Keep moving on!!
Just keep swimming!!
DO NOT GIVE UP!!
“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” (Galatians 6:9)
Today is NOT the day to quit! Try to just take one small step, make one positive decision, or complete one small task. That is how you keep from quitting!
Truth Two – Isaiah 50:7
FLINT was an extremely strong stone that was often used to make knives. It was abundant in Palestine.
In Isaiah 50:7, our Messiah speaks, “For the Lord God will help Me; Therefore I will not be disgraced; Therefore I have set My face like a flint, And I know that I will not be ashamed.” (Isaiah 50:7, NKJV)
In Luke 9:51, it is said of Jesus, “He steadfastly set His face to go to Jerusalem.
What a model of determination for us!
-When God calls you to something, SET YOUR FACE LIKE A FLINT to do it!
-If God has led you in a particular way, steadfastly SET YOUR FACE to complete this thing!
Don’t Quit!
Keep going!
Don’t give up!
Press on!
Truth Three – Lamentations 3:25
What a great promise to claim today! You may want to write this one down and carry it with you.
Share this hopeful word with a friend or family member today. All of us need encouragement!
“The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, To the person who seeks Him.”
(Lamentations 3:25, NASB)
