5 Bible Promises to Strengthen Your Faith

For many of us, these are words we have heard, spoken, and sung all of our lives.

Moreover, we know that we are to have faith.

But sometimes it is just PLAIN HARD to have faith in God.

Obviously, some days, our faith is weaker than on other days.

Truly, believing in God’s sovereignty can often be a great challenge!


Indeed, we are living in some of those days right now.

Certainly, I don’t remember a stranger season than the one our world is going through at this time.

Crazy diseases.

And, markets plunging.

Events being canceled. 

As well as… Panic.

And, fear.

(Even… Toilet paper is being bought in large quantities from the shelves of stores. I’m still not sure I understand the huge rush on T.P.!)



Therefore, today I’d like to offer you 5 Bible promises to strengthen your faith.

And, I can think of no better weapon against fear and crazy doubt that the amazing promises of the Bible.

First, Bible Promise One

But Jesus looked at them and said,

“With men, it is impossible, but not with God;

for with God, all things are possible.”

For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.'”

Indeed, Abraham believed God against all hope, and God blessed him with a son.

Romans 4:21 says that he was,

“fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform.”

  1. I’ve always liked John 14…He is preparing a place for us. So much more wonderful than we have here. Thanks especially for this reminder, also for all your work as you encourage & help others.

  2. Wonderful reminders of God’s promises to His people. It was my devotion time this morning as the little ones are home with me as the family is moving out this weekend. I needed a few of these promises to cling to as they leave.
