8 Reassuring Reminders of the Faithfulness of God

It’s been one of those weeks for us… a pretty typical first week.

Trying to get back into the routine again.

Going back to work and school.

Starting those diets and exercise plans again.

Maybe you can relate?

But, it’s been much more than that

There have been some real losses, some disappointments, some hurts, and some difficulties in our lives during this first week of the year.

I’ve also talked to many of you who are HURTING–deeply and quietly suffering right now. Truly, I’m so grateful that you were willing to share your pain with me and allow me to pray with you.

I’ve been going back through the concordance in the back of my Bible, taking the time to consider some of the various facets of God’s character.

First, I’ve started with the “A’s,” and looked up all sorts of verses each morning. I’ve found so many incredible reminders of God’s faithfulness.

And, it’s been a joy to share many of my discoveries about God’s faithfulness on social media this week. I thought it might also be uplifting to recap those Bible verses this Sunday morning.

Yes, remembering God’s faithfulness is so encouraging . . . I like that last one best too ’cause it reminds me that He will continue to be faithful in the future. The things I’m unsure about now can be committed to His perfect, loving care.

YES!! Ephesians 3:20 is always a big one for me when I’m feeling like I just can’t make it through. Good Words of life-giving capacity, Melanie!

Thank you so much for the strong dose of encouragement! It was just what I needed today. I had to have foot surgery mid December to repair a torn tendon and am slow to heal and having complications. I never realized how hard it is, or exhausting, to need crutches constantly. God is teaching me to let go of my perfectionism, my business and my own to do list and just sit, often in His presence. Thank you again and God bless you all.

    Thanks, Evelyn!
We all need to hear some words of hope, don’t we!
    So glad you were encouraged.
And, I pray that you will continue to heal and get better soon.
It is freeing when we let go and get still in God’s Presence!
